Living in San Francisco, I do more than my share of walking. While I long for Carrie Bradshaw’s Manolo Blahniks, the knock-off versions do not do wonders for my feet. I’m not ready (and, let’s face it, probably never will be) for a pair of typical Birkenstocks. So, what’s a girl to do?

When I was in Walgreens the other day, I saw an intriguing product – Dr. Scholl’s For Her Comfort. I liked the discreet clear gel and the promise of comfort. But I had been fooled before. Was this worth $9.99? I decided to take a risk, and I must say – YES! This is now my secret weapon in the world of cute-but-not-so-comfortable shoes. I now float down the street in my stylish, black boots. And my friend Jen partied the night away in the Mission in her strappy Aldo heels with the help of Dr. Scholl’s for Her Ball of Foot Cushions.

While shoe insoles may not be sexy, the results definitely are. Give them a try!
